Information Regarding VAT (Value Added Tax) Implementation on Stock Transactions

We would like to inform you regarding the implementation of VAT on your stock transactions:

1. Based on the information we received from our Tax Consultant, the tax account representative of KPP Pratama Jakarta Kebayoran Baru Satu stated that PT KAF Sekuritas Indonesia was officially registered as a Taxable Entrepreneur (PKP) as of January 1, 2025. Therefore, KAF Sekuritas is now authorized to collect VAT and credit Input Tax.

2. VAT has been effectively implemented starting from January 1, 2025.

3. However, VAT will only appear and be printed on the Trade Confirmation documents starting from January 8, 2025.

4. For transactions conducted during the period of January 2 to January 7, 2025, although VAT does not appear on the Trade Confirmation, we assure you that these transactions have been subjected to VAT in the system and there will be no additional charges.

5. Tax base and VAT at 12% will be calculated in accordance with PMK No. 131/2024 and IDX Letter No. S-00001/BEI.KEU/01-2025. The VAT rate for 2025 is calculated by multiplying the rate of 12% (twelve percent) with the Tax Base in the form of Other Value. The Other Value referred to is 11/12 (eleven per twelve) of the Invoice Value.
